Other routes at GIC

GIC Singapore graduate programme (GPP) and direct applicants+

Direct applicants and interns converting to the graduate programme report a take-home project and a pair programming round.

  1. 1

    Take-home project

    • A small take-home project with simple requirements. Candidates say adding tests and documentation helps.
  2. 2

    Pair programming

    • Three candidates per group with two interviewers: discuss a system description together, then take turns coding.
    • Another format: walk through your take-home, fix bugs live and add a feature.
    • Direct applicants who complete both up front do not repeat them at conversion. Hackathon-route interns do them later.

GIC graduate headcount+

One candidate was told by a recruiter that the 2025 graduate programme headcount was filled entirely by returning interns. If the graduate programme is your goal, the internship is the route candidates report working.
